Background
Bossgirls is a free entrepreneurship summer program offered at the Zahn Innovation Center of City College of New York, to educate and provide resources for high school female students to generate their own startup ideas for business building.
I was invited by the Zahn Innovation center's program manager to facilitate an educational workshop for Bossgirls. In this 2.5 hour workshop, I taught over 80 high school female students on the basics of UXUI Design, followed by a Figma tutorial at the end of the session. I assumed the role of instructor and mentor during breakout groups, guided students on their startup idea in relation to product design, and answered any questions they had.
